We support the communities we serve in many ways. This is where we live and work, so corporate citizenship is a high priority. We regularly contribute to community events, sponsor youth teams, and provide standby services during large gatherings.

Last year alone, more than 20,000 children were reached through Metro West’s outreach efforts. This community service provided the public an opportunity to experience EMS in fun and educational environments. The public was able to meet a Metro West paramedic or EMT, ask questions, tour inside a Metro West ambulance, meet Metro West’s interactive robotic ambulance, Andy Ambulance, and learn more about the 9-1-1 system.

Play-Fit-Fun

We are proud to support Play-Fit-fun in the Kid Fit program. 

Childhood Obesity is at Epidemic Proportions. 1-in-3 American Youth are obese or overweight. Kid Fit modivates kids to put down those video games and smartphones and get outside and GET MOVING! They also teach kids to eat more fruit and vegetable, limit the junk food and make Healthy choices.

From Andy the Ambulance for the children to Career Days for our teens and Health Fairs for everyone, we reach out to better the quality of life in our communities.
